Netflix: the best thing that ever happened to the internet. For the few people who don't know, Netflix is a website that allows you to watch just about any movie or tv show you want for around eight dollars a month. Netflix tailors the content to your interests and suggests things you may like based on your recent history. Warning! Netflix is super addicting, and it's easy to lock yourself away and binge-watch three seasons of a show in one day. If you're new to Netflix or just finished a show and don't know what to start next, then here are some ideas:
1. "Friends"

"So no one told you life was gunna be this way!" "Friends" is one of the most popular TV shows ever created during the 1990's. "Friends" is about a group of friends trying to figure out their lives together in NYC and is HILARIOUS. If you haven't see "Friends" yet, you need to watch it. Right now. All 10 seasons. Seriously.
2. "Iliza Shlesinger: Freezing Hot"

This is probably the best hidden gem you'll find when it comes to comedy specials. Iliza Schlesinger is a pretty popular comedian, and this is by far her best special yet. She pokes fun at the drunk 20-year-olds walking half naked to the clubs, dating life, how she dumps people, and every white girl's favorite website, Pinterest. If you want a good girls' night activity, break open a few bottles of wine and enjoy.
3. "Orange Is the New Black"
Ladies in jail! "OITNB" is a Netflix original series about Piper Chapman (above) who is sentenced to 15 months in jail for smuggling money with her then-girlfriend Alex Vause about 10 years prior. Even though the series is directed towards Piper and Alex, you learn a lot about the other inmates, such as why they are there and who they were before jail. "OITNB" is one of those shows you just can't look away from. Warning: lots of girl-on-girl action.
4. "Wet Hot American Summer"
"Wet Hot American Summer" is a new Netflix original that came out this summer, but is based on the movie made in 2001. "WHAS" is an eight-episode prequel to the original movie, and actually includes the original cast. The show is set at a summer camp in 1981 in Maine, and follows the camp counselors while they try to be mentors to the young campers, prepare for the talent show, and keep it in their pants.
5. "House of Cards"
For people who want a more serious show, "House of Cards" is the one for you. Another Netflix original, the show is a political drama that follows congressman Frank Underwood, his wife Claire, and his thirst for power. "House of Cards" is one of those suspenseful shows you have a hard time explaining to someone who hasn't seen it...so that means you have to clear your schedule and watch the first three seasons before the fourth one comes out next year!
