Finals week is approaching and with that, procrastination follows. Here are five amazing movies to watch when you want to relax or pretend that 15-page paper isn't due tomorrow.
1. Roman Holiday
Romance, humor, and sweetness combines in this lovely movie directed by William Wyler. Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck are fabulous together as they explore Rome for a day.
2. Chinatown
If you want a movie so dramatic it will trump the drama surrounding your impending bio exam, this is it. Jack Nicholson is the fabulous Jake Gittes, on a mission to solve an LA mystery that will leave you speechless.
3. Superbad
What's the best way to forget college? Reminisce about high school. This classic raunchy comedy has just enough heart to make you want to go back to high school, but then again maybe not.
4. The Incredibles
Pixar is always the answer. You get the laughs without the tears (sorry UP), and Edna Mode is priceless.
5. Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version)
Three solid hours of Austen. This is when you're desperate. The dashing Darcy (Colin Firth) is the epitome of brooding and Elizabeth (Jennifer Ehle) is perfection. Grab your scones and clotted cream because this is going to be one epic saga.
