Top 5 Lip - Sync Mishaps

Even Mariah Carey couldn't escape 2016 without some sort of scrutiny. While we might have laughed or felt bad for her, she isn't the first to have that happen to her. We're used to people like Britney Spears lip synching since they dance so much. But no matter who you are, sometimes it just doesn't go right. In no particular order, here are some memorable lip - sync mishaps.

1. Mariah Carey on New Year's Eve.

Because this list wouldn't be complete without it.

2. Ashlee Simpson on SNL.

We all have those little awkward moments in life. It's all about how we handle them. But I guess some of us choose to do a little jig instead.

3. Britney Spears at the 2007 VMA's.

While this wasn't a "fail." You can tell that it wasn't Britney's best.

4. Ashley Tisdale at the 2007 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Sometimes artists prefer to have a track because of not being able to hear their music while playing outside. Maybe this isn't the best idea for all artists.

5. Beyonce at the 2013 Inauguration.

Sometimes even Queen B has her less than perfect days.
