As summer draws ever closer, the warmer days make cold drinks especially refreshing. One of the best ways to beat the heat is by drinking a cold frappuccino! For those that might not know what a frappuccino (or frappe) is, it's basically a coffee (or creme) slushie with a bunch of sugar/syrup and cool whip.

Frappes are by far my favorite summer treat. Below, I've made a list of my top 5 favorite frappuccinos that you can get at any Starbucks, because lets face it, they make the best frappes.

1) Chai Creme Frappuccino

The chai creme is a good choice if you're not a big fan of coffee or overly sweet stuff. Made with chai tea, milk, blended with ice and topped with cool whip (or without) and cinnamon, this mildly sweet and spicy frappe may be your new favorite drink.

2) Java Chip Frappuccino

Made with chocolate, coffee, and milk, this sweet frappe is right up any mocha lover's lane. There is an even balance between the flavors of chocolate and coffee so you won't taste one more than the other. It's absolutely delicious and perfect to take on road trips.

3) White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino

For coffee lovers who like to keep their drinks simple, this frappe is just the thing! White chocolate, coffee, and milk are all blended together to create this sweet but not-too-sweet drink. It's the perfect treat to bring to the beach!

4) Strawberries and Creme Frappuccino

For the milkshake-lovers, this is the drink for you! Sweet strawberries and milk are blended to create the ultimate strawberry milkshake. It's the best drink to have around when you're eating salty french fries. Nothing beats the combination of salty and sweet.

5) Green Tea Frappuccino

This is my absolute favorite go-to drink to get from Starbucks. It doesn't matter if it's in the middle of winter or summer because this drink is perfect for every season. Made from sweet matcha green tea and milk, this sweet frappe goes well with everything. Car rides, salty foods, late night studying, I definitely recommend this drink to anyone who hasn't tried it and wants to try something new. Plus, the green tea makes for a really good caffeine boost without the headache later on.

As you can see, Starbucks offers frappuccinos for every occasion and every taste palette. No matter where you go or what you do this summer, here's hoping you find your new favorite drink.

Cheers!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
