Some of you may not know this about myself, but I'm very big into the Pokémon trading card game. This past weekend I went to the pre-release of the newest set Guardians Rising. The card shop I went to sold out before the doors were even open as lots of fans like myself were eager to get their hands on the newest set. There are a lot of new cards that I am excited for that are being introduced in this set and I will list the Top 5 most wanted cards every player should want in this set.(In no particular order)
1) Aqua patch.
Aqua patch is a card that allows you to attach one water energy from you discard pile to one of your benched Pokémon. This is going to be a big help in a lot of water decks including quad lapras and water toolbox.
2) Taup Lele-GX 
Tapu Lele-GX is going to be a big staple in a lot of decks because of its ability wonder tag which reads.
“When you play this Pokemon from your hand onto your Bench during your turn, you may search your deck for a Supporter card, reveal it, and put it in your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.”
If you are stuck in a pinch this card will definitely help you out.
3) Garbodor 
This card is currently the biggest and most used card in Japan right now and its ridiculously powerful. It’s main attack is for one single psychic energy this attach does 20 damage for each of your opponents tool card in their discard pile.
4) Field Blower 
Field Blower is going to be a major tech card, what it does reads “choose up to 2 in any combination of Pokemon tool cards and stadium cards in play(yours or your opponent’s) and discard them.”
this can help you out if you need to knock out a pokemon that has a fighting fury belt attached to then or if you are stuck because of the affects of a stadium like silent lab this card removes it and comes in clutch.
5) Double Colorless Energy - Secret rare 
Anyone who plays pokémon knows what this card is but for those who are new to the game or just don't know this is an energy card for 2 colorless energy and its glorious in its secret rare form.
