My Top Five All-Time Favorite Videogames

There are very few games that I will play multiple times, and these are those games.

I don't play video games very often. Few of them hold my attentions for very long. This is a list of the few that have actually been awesome enough for me to play all the way through and re-play. A lot of these games I enjoy for style points, but the story-lines are great, too. I hope you find some favorites in common with me and maybe find some new games to play!

5. Halo 4

To be honest, I never played the story for this game, but I do love the multiplayer! The graphics are amazing and it’s fun to be playing as aliens rather than humans. I love it when a game can create their own new species and weapons. The gravity hammer and energy sword are my favorite weapons for their design and level of enjoyment.

4. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

I have yet to play any of the other Assassin’s Creed series, but again, the graphics in this game are great. This game also has some innovative weapons and character designs. The costumes are gorgeous and the facial features are perfect. This game also has very innovative ideas such as throwing money to attract people to an area to distract guards.

3. Golden Sun

I have to add this one to the list. This game doesn’t have great graphics, it’s an old DS game, but it has a great story and I enjoy the gameplay. This is a fantasy RPG with turn-based attacks. I played this game about three times and was never able to beat it. It requires a lot of prior planning and strategy. There have been new releases in the series since I played. Feel free to check those out, too!

2. Civilization Revolution

This is one of the two games that I’ve bought multiple times and played through too many times to count. This one is low on the graphics side, but it has great gameplay. It’s a turn-based game where you control a nation and try to beat out the other nations through culture, technology, domination, or economics. There is an online mode that I haven’t been able to try, but the offline mode is fun. There are weekly challenges and tons of achievements to unlock!

1. Fable 3

My all-time favorite game is Fable 3. I cannot tell you how many times and in how many ways I have played through this game. It’s a free-roam RPG with many various story-lines. You spend the game making decisions to alter the story. This game has beautiful, innovative, and customizable weapons, costumes, spells, dialogue, and more. You can build relationships with anyone in the game including townspeople, shopkeepers, maids, cooks, and other online players. You have a dog that you can train and keep with you for the entire game. The game also has the capability for marriage and having children. All-in-all, it’s an amazing game that has everything I could ever ask for in an RPG including auto-targeting. I can’t aim for my life.

I hope you enjoyed reading about some of my favorite games. Feel free to comment some of your favorites that you’d like me to check out!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
