Welcome to the 90's fashion era, when attitudes were heated just as much as mini skirts and knee-high socks with a crop top stirred up the heat!

Let the nostalgia begin NOW! Yeah that's right people, we are heading back to the late 90's to see who were the hottest stars and what were the hottest trends. The 90's fashion world was full of vivacious colors and bright patterns, but most importantly, it was a time for everyone who was anyone—especially younger kidsto express themselves through their clothing. The Top 15 Fashion Icons of the 90's were teen celebrities who emulated spunk and flair and all that was hip, yet the best part is those same fashion trends still remain as killer looks.

1. Tiffani- Amber Thiessen

Miss Kelly Kapowski from Saved By The Bell, everyone's girl crush in the 90's! Crop tops. Mom jeans. Colorful scrunchies. Not one single girl could be the high school sweetheart Kelly was—cute and all around adorable with her ensembles.

2. Mark-Paul Gosselaar

How could I possibly forget the ultimate pretty boy, Zack Morris from Saved By The Bell? Those brightly-colored, striped T-shirts, Levi jeans, and Nike sneakers were exactly what the 90's were all about!

3. Lisa Bonet

Denise Huxtable from The Cosby Show is a 90's fashion icon, indubitably. She was the entire package. Hipster. Grunge. Bohemian chic. You name it. She had the swagger and cool to pull off any look. Her style is impeccable and I am in love with it!

4. Tatyana Ali

Aw, baby-faced Ashley Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air grew up beautifully throughout each episode. Her style was prim and proper, but it had spunk. Whether it was big, comfy sweaters and leggings or crop tops and knee-high tights, little Ashley's style was everything and more!

5. Will Smith

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's Will Smith! This picture just says it all, fresh to death. I mean just look at that collared shirt under the one-clasped overall, undeniably dope. 90's hip-hop was bumping and "The Fresh Prince" was not going to miss out on all the hype—he was the hype. I absolutely adore Will Smith and his style in the 90's has just been a plus! His clothes were rambunctious, scattered with colors and shapes and patterns. However, it expressed his personality and that is exactly what style is about, regardless of the time period!

5. Jennifer Aniston

Friends' Rachel Green is my spirit animal. Casual denim on denim. Chic crochet vests. The elegant "little black dress." Rachel Green's look was and still is, timeless. Don't believe me? HA, head on to the Forever 21 clothing website, where you can buy ALMOST THE EXACT pair of jeans and loose fit, knotted blouse.

6. Danielle Fishel

Your average girl-next-door by the stunning Topanga Lawrence of Boy Meets World. Despite wanting the same love Topanga found, every little girl in the 90's wanted Topanga's flawless hair. And did you see how perfectly she matched that red scrunchie with her red-and-white-striped crop top? Just fabulous! This outfit is definitely something I would still wear, especially those high-waisted white shorts—to die for!

8. Britney Spears

Britney Spears, America's pop princess since she was seventeen years old, has consistently revolutionized the fashion world. She had beauty and talent and style—every girl's dream. Little girls crazed over the goody two-shoes, school girl look in Hit Me Baby One More Time (including myself, geez I confess). Don't lie, you know you ran around your room with two pigtails on your head, blasting her cd and singing into a hairbrush (microphone)! And nothing was possibly better than the red bodysuit for her alien look in Oops! . . . I Did It Again.

9. Christina Aguilera

Okay, so there is a little rivalry among this list, but there is no way I could leave out pop diva, Christina Aguilera. Her style completely opposed Spear's angelic look because Miss Xtina herself took daring and bold to a whole other level in fashion. I loved that she wasn't afraid to take risks with her clothing. She exposed skin. She crimped her hair. She wore heavy eye makeup. Christina Aguilerawas the rebel every teenage girl wanted to be and therefore, they lived through her as each outfit stunned all her fans. Nevertheless, Christina Aguilera continues to look breathtakingly gorgeous on each episode of NBC's The Voice.

10. Melissa Joan Hart

Melissa Joan Hart from both, Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina: The Teenage Witch, thank you for proving that choker necklaces and chunky sandals werebomb. She had just the amount of girly flair that made her look so amazing, I am still jealous!

11. Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake, teen heartthrob from boyband NSYNC, is a fashion god. C'mon you know his blond "ramen-noodle" hair is infamous in fashion history.

12. Tyra Banks

FIERCE, FERCE, FIERCE. I am and have always been obsessed with supermodel Tyra Banks, but I can not help but boast that she has fashion sense that is out of this world. She has walked runways for major designers. She has done photoshoots for major fashion labels. She has made a name for herself through the beauty of fashion modeling, HOWEVER, wanna guess my favorite moment of her career from the 90's? You must remember her guest appearance as Jackie, Will's love interest in the The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Honestly, how dope is it that a model could just be as glamorous when wearing a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt? Yup, Tyra Banks is super fresh and super dope.

13. Candace Cameron Bure

Oh my lanta! Donna Jo, or DJ, Tanner from Full House was the older sister we all wanted in real life. Sweet and loving and sincere, you bet she was the ultimate big sister with the most perfect clothing. Her style was way ahead of her time, but let's just say she slayed the 90's laid-back look with large plaid shirts and high-waisted denim.

14. Tia and Tamera Mowry

SISTER, SISTER! Yaasss, Tia and Tamera Mowry were the most flawless twins. Regardless of their identical physical appearances, these two girls dazzled with individual personalities, especially through their fashion taste. Tia, more girly and Tamera, more sporty. However, both were stylish as could be. I envied their clothing and must I say, their style and glamour have only evolved just as stunningly as they have aged. These two young women are so fashion-forward, nothing but class and elegance and sophistication.

15. Brandy Norwood

Oh yeah, last but definitely not least, it's your girl Moesha. Not only did I love the morals of her show, but I truly believed her career opened the eyes of many many young colored girls growing up the 90's. This girl had soul and passion, which diffused through her many simple, yet lively outfits. SLAY-worthy and awe-inspiring.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
