Dr. Seuss is a house hold name. I read his books all the time when i was little and he always had such inspirational quotes. I am sharing with you, my top 15 quotes that really inspired me.

1."Kid, You'll Move Mountains."

this tells me that even the smallest steps you take, you'll make a change and in the end be able to do something so big it is like moving mountains!

2. “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”

This to mean shows that if you care and want to do things, things will get done. Nothing will get better or done if you just sit around.

3. "Why fit in when you were born to stand out?"

We are all unique, but we all get stuck where we just want to belong. We all need to be ourselves and break free and be ourselves.

4.“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.”

Your brain can help your feet tell you where to go. Follow your heart and listen to you head.

5. “You are you. Now, isn’t that pleasant?

You have to be yourself, you cannot be someone else. You need to learn to love yourself.

6. “You’ll miss the best things if you keep your eyes shut.”

There are so many things out there to be seen, keep your eyes open if you know what i mean.

7. “Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the things you can think up if only you try!”

You are in control of your thoughts, it not something that is just there. Think for yourself and find out what your imagination can do.

8. “Just tell yourself, Duckie, you’re really quite lucky!”

You should always be lucky where you are, because somewhere out there someone wishes they were in your place.

9.“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory.”

Sometimes things happen and you can't tell if it is important until it comes up one day as a memory stored away

10. “A person’s a person, no matter how small.”

Everyone deserves your respect.

11. “I know it is wet and the sun is not sunny, but we can have lots of good fun that is funny.”

The sun will not always shine, you just need to learn how to make the best out of all of it.

12.“Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.”

Do not let the good time stop!

13. “It is fun to have fun but you have to know how.”

It is important to know how to have fun when you want to have fun!

14. “You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And you are the one who’ll decide where to go.”

It can be hard to be on your own, but in the end you at least get to chose your own path!

15. “Only you can control your future.”

I saved the best for last ... you are in control of you ... you set the future for yourself and you get the lead the path any way you want ... you get to chose what you are destine to do!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
