As October quickly comes to an end, that means one thing... Halloween is almost officially upon us. Now, I am not Halloween fanatic, but I do love hearing about all of the different haunted houses there are (even though I will never actually go to them because, well, I'm a baby). The great thing about this time of year, is that there are places all around the United States who put on haunted houses and make them absolutely amazing. So, if Halloween is your thing and more importantly, if traveling is something you love to do then go ahead and hop in your car and hit up these 10 scariest haunted houses throughout the United States:

1. 13th Floor

Located in Denver, Colorado, this haunted house is sure to give you quite the scare. As I am sure many of you know, the number 13 is a superstitious number that means bad luck, so why wouldn't you want to go and hang out on the 13th floor of a super creepy building, right? Price: $25.99 per person.

2. The Hex House

This famous haunted house is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and for a price of $20.00, you can visit this house that is based off of a true event where two girls were found to be held in occult control for seven years.

3. The 13th Gate

Located in a backwoods bayou in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, you can take a nice, terrifying walk through underground tunnels and a crematory oven for $25.00! Enjoy it for me because I will definitely not ever be going to this one!

4. Headless Horseman Hayride

Take a trip to Ulster Park, New York, and you can pay a pretty hefty price of $45.95 to experience a haunted hayride, corn maze and something brand new: The Great Room Escape Challenge! Everyone has heard of these escape room challenges, so why not try to escape from some place haunted? Talk about working under pressure!

5. Cutting Edge Haunted House

In the great part of Fort Worth, Texas, you can find this Guinness Book World Record holding haunted house! For an average price of $29.95, you can explore this abandoned meat packing plant where the old equipment now holds human remains!

6. Statesville Haunted Prison

Just 40 miles south of Chicago in Crest Hill, Illinois. If you pay $30.00, you will be lead through 23 maximum security prison cells where you can come face-to-face with ghostly inmates.

7. Bennett's Curse

Head up to Baltimore, Maryland to experience this great haunted house! And by haunted house, I actually mean four haunted houses all put together into one huge haunt fest! $35.00 dollars, and you can make your way into this group of haunted houses that are "not for the faint of heart."

8. The Darkness

Want to meet three sisters who kill everyone in sight? Head up to St. Louis, Missouri, and you can get just that! $25.00 for adults and $23.00 for children (Because, you know, who wouldn't want to take their kids right?), and you can head up there to meet these three sisters. Described as "very cruel" killers who "torture their victims." Good luck!

9. The Scream Zone

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
