Top 10 Reasons Why Fall Is The Best Season

October has finally come, and guess what that means? It's officially fall, at least in my books it is. With a new crisp air slowly taking over the atmosphere, falling leaves and chilly days are here to stay. While some may argue summer is the best season, they are clearly wrong.

Here are the top 10 reasons why fall is clearly the best season.

1. The greatest of clothes are fall clothes.

From beanies to vests to boots to sweaters, fall wins all the points for having the best clothing items to pick from. Even if you only a have a few things, layering makes your outfit options nearly endless.

Wondering what's trending for Fall 2015? Puffer coats, flare jeans, knit sweaters, and turtlenecks have all been seen on this season's runways.

2. The best of holidays are right around the corner.

If you're anything like me, you're already counting down the days until Halloween, 26 more days if anyone lost track. What other holiday allows you access to all the free candy just by dressing up? That's right, there is no other one.

If indulging in the best of foods is more your thing, Thanksgiving is just under 50 days away. You better start working on your tolerance of eating mass amounts of food now though.

3. Going to the pumpkin patch.

It's always been a longtime tradition where I've grown up and is probably the top reason why I get most excited for the fall season. Turkey legs, pumpkins and hayrack rides are only a few of the main reasons why anyone and everyone should enjoy attending their local pumpkin patch.

4. Apple picking.

If you're looking for a way to destress or just need time off from all the worries of life, a great fall activity is going to an apple orchard and picking apples. Bring your closest friends and get ready for photos that are sure to be Instagram worthy.

5. It's football season.

America's favorite past time holds it's own in the fall season. Whether you enjoy watching the sport on television or in-person, it makes a great event for bonding with friends and family.

6. Three words: classic fall movies.

Hocus Pocus, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and Mean Girls are only a few select movies that are sure to be appearing on a local station near you.

7. Fall activities, specifically campfires and roasting s'mores, are the best .

With the cold nights creeping around more and more, it only seems fitting to have some kind of activity that keeps you warm. S'mores are optional, but can definitely fill your need for an evening snack or midnight craving.

8. The leaves changing colors and falling to the ground have you reminiscing on your childhood.

There are so many aspects to love about this beautiful feature of nature. While the changing colors can leave anyone with good vibes, there's more to them than just their color change. They also have the ability to bring back your childhood.

Just grab your rake and get to work on building a large pile of leaves. Once that's complete, run and jump into them and remember who carefree you were as a child.

9. Autumnal foods such as pies, pumpkin spice, hot chocolate, and more, are by far the greatest and most popular.

If no other reason has convinced you thus far, at least admit that fall has some of the best seasonal foods around. For all those who have a PSL obsession, don't limit yourself to just the latte. Many companies have extended the pumpkin spice flavor to candy, bagels, and even gum.

10. School breaks begin.

Every student waits for this moment as soon as summer comes to an end. Fall break causes students' to have wandering thoughts about seeing their families and getting a break from school. Keep going, you're almost there!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
