Whether you're rolling out of bed at 10 or 2, we could all use a little pick-me-up.

For some of us, it's a cigarette, for others it's coffee, and for the rest of us, it's music. So, here's the top 10 songs to play during your morning routine to get yourself hype for the day!

1. Gwen Stefani- "Hollaback Girl"

A hit at any party, and the only reason we all learned how to spell banana in the first place.

2. 'N Sync- "It's Gonna Be Me"

This little treasure comes back around every May, and honestly? It's always welcomed with open arms. I guarantee you Justin's resume has "teen heartthrob" listed under "past work experience."

3. Destiny's Child- "Say My Name"

Of course this is on the list. How could I ever leave out the Queen Bey's humble beginnings?

4. Beyoncé ft. Jay-Z- "Crazy In Love"

......Aaaaaaaand who could ever forget her fantastic solo-career that took off right from the get-go? Plot twist: Bey literally was destiny's child.

5. Nelly- "Hot In Herre"

Whenever this song came on at a middle school dance, every chaperone in the room would start clutching their pearls.

6. Kanye West ft. Jamie Foxx- "Gold Digger"

The song you blasted whenever one of your friends said they couldn't pay you back yet.

7. Fergie- "London Bridge"

After a ten year break, Fergie seems to finally be making a comeback, but who could ever forget the Dutchess's debut?

8. Ciara ft. Petey Pablo- "Goodies"

Before we had Nicki and Cardi, we had Ciara, and she delivered.

9. Lil Mama- "Lip Gloss"

Stay long enough at any Ship party and you're bound to hear this song eventually, but it never fails to keep things lively.

10. Rihanna- "SOS"

OK, but can we just talk about her highlight in this gif? There are only two things in this world that shine brighter: her future and the sun itself.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
