There's two kinds of humans when it comes to Christmas. The one's that are absolutely obsessed with the holiday and that one's that roll their eyes at the people obsessed with the holiday. However, whichever side of the spectrum you may be, I think we can all agree we were die-hard fans of Christmas movies as kids. So here are the top 10 Christmas movies that may lead you to doing a little reminiscing about your childhood (and hey, that may even help you get into that holiday spirit):

1. The Grinch.

Who would I be if I didn't put this as number one? We all find ourselves still making references to this movie today. It was the perfect movie at age 5, and still is the perfect movie today. It's heartwarming and hilarious all at the same time, and features some pretty great songs. I may or may not be singing "Where Are You Christmas" by Faith Hill right now.

2. Jack Frost.

You can't not love this movie. It has every aspect of love, family and comedy. It also features a fantastical element as Jack comes back to life as a snowman. It's just great okay.

3. The Santa Clause.

First off, Tim Allen. His acting is always fabulous and even though I probably didn't know his name as a kid, I sure do now. Watching Allen have to become the new Santa Clause and complete all the Christmas deliveries with his son is just incredible. Basically, something in which any of us kids would have dreamed of doing.

4. Home Alone.

The ultimate Christmas classic in which the character of Kevin McCallister was basically our hero. I could watch Kevin try to take down some robbers any day. Even Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is just as good.

5. Elf

A grown man as an elf whose two main food groups consist of candy and syrup, and whose favorite line is, "Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?" That's about all I have to say. The movie speaks for itself.

6. A Christmas Story.

Though its release was in 1983, this Christmas movie has still yet to get off everyone's radar. This was the film that taught me not to stick my tongue to an icy telephone poll, and also that I never desired to wear a pink bunny suite. Also, maybe that Ralphie was my spirit animal...

7. The Nightmare Before Christmas.

I'd say this movie has been always fitting for my two favorite holidays, both Halloween and Christmas. As kids, I'd say we were guilty of watching it for both occasions.

8. Christmas with the Kranks.

Both a Christmas disaster and a Christmas miracle. This movie is both hilarious and tender hearted at the same time. And once again...Tim Allen.

9. The Polar Express.

This movie was like a magical journey into another dimension where Christmas was everything and more. As a kid, I felt like I was along for the ride on the Polar Express myself.

10. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

The musicals, the characters, this movie is all around a family favorite. And how can you resist singing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer?" Whether it be the classic version or the many remixed ones.

So now that I have you experiencing some serious nostalgia, I hope you'll enjoy some hot coco while you're snuggled up in a million blankets watching some of these amazing Christmas movies.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
