As a music lover, you can't do Christmas without some fun tunes to listen to! Personally, I listen to a wide variety of music. Classical, pop, R&B, Broadway, rock, country and so on. Here are my top 10 Christmas albums, not in any order though!! (Bear with me, this is extremely hard to choose. I have more than 10.. I could go on forever. Okay to the list we go!)

1. "A Pentatonix Christmas"

Lately, I have been really into Pentatonix. Their Christmas album is so fun and also amazing! You can NEVER go wrong with harmonies and a cappella.

2. Jackie Evancho's "Someday at Christmas"

You may remember Jackie Evancho as the 10 year old girl with an amazing opera and classical voice on America's Got Talent. Now at age 16, she has made several albums including Christmas ones. Jackie recently released this one. Her voice is phenomenal and has grown so much.

3. Dolly Parton's "Home For Christmas"

Nothing like listening to one of the queens of country music sing some Christmas songs that talk about faith and joy. Love this album oh so much.

4. Mariah Carey's "Merry Christmas"

Okay, don't lie... we all know Mariah Carey's version of All I Want For Christmas Is You. You don't get through Christmas without hearing it like 20 billion times, but honestly I like to jam out to it....

5. Josh Groban's "Noel"

Another amazing and phenomenal voice I love. You need to listen to this one. That is all I'm going to say.

6. Whitney Houston's "One Wish: The Holiday Album"

Whitney, oh how her voice is so powerful. I love listening to this album during Christmas because the soulfulness she has in her voice is even more special during this time of year!

7. Barbra Streisand's "A Christmas Album"

If you love Barbra and Christmas like I do, then you will love this album!! Classic and simply beautiful.

8. Kristin Chenoweth's "A Lovely Way To Spend Christmas"

If you thought I wasn't going to put this on the list, then you are crazy!! Kristin is known for Broadway, but in this album she goes back to some of her country roots which I love, but don't worry, she does classical and Broadway style songs too on the album!

9. The Beach Boys' "Christmas Album"

As someone who grew up listening to The Beach Boys, it always makes my heart happy to listen to their fun filled Christmas album!

10. Jackson 5's "Christmas Album"

If you like some grooviness when you listen to Christmas songs, then the Jackson 5's album is perfect for you! Very uptempo and fun to jam out to!

Like I said, there are SO many albums I could list. I just adore Christmas and music. Check these albums out this season! You won't regret it! I promise!!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
