With all this cold weather and being stuck inside with homework or the flu, social media has become a definite distraction.
Some would say to limit time on Facebook or Twitter, but instead I decided to compile a list of my top ten favorite celebrity twitter accounts that you need to be following right now.
1. Anna Kendrick
Hands down, her account is one of my favorites. She is constantly tweeting things that I wish I had the guts to say. She's sometimes a little inappropriate, but that's why we love her.
"I don't want a whole dessert, let's just get two spoons" - Former friend of mine.

February 12, 2015 2. Chrissy Teigen
First, she's ridiculously funny. Second, she's married to John Legend. Third, did I already say how funny she is? Seriously though, she is constantly posting pictures of the food she makes, commenting on her Uber drivers, or just making priceless statements, in general.
What do you do when your Uber driver is clearly not the guy in the photo? Like he def murdered the other guy right he's a murderer
— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) February 16, 2015 3. Blake Shelton
Based on his Twitter account, the man is drunk 20 hours of the day. He also is very proud of his wife, Miranda Lambert, his Voice contestants, and his ability to drink.
Man it's a beautiful morning in Oklahoma ... This calls for a drink!!! *****.
— Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) February 13, 20154. Ed Sheeran
Because he has awesome interactions with other celebrities on Twitter that make him seem like a normal 24-year-old in the music world (which is what he is).
@ladygaga in all seriousness, where is my drink?
— Ed Sheeran (@edsheeran) February 11, 20155. Jenna (Mourey) Marbles
I've always loved watching her YouTube Videos, and her humor transfers over to 144 character–long Tweets as well.
The world suffers when beautiful female celebrities fight on Twitter. We get way less butt selfies. No one can take an angry butt selfie.
— Jenna Mourey/Marbles (@Jenna_Marbles) February 19, 20156. Jimmy Fallon
Who doesn't love his talk show? Personally, I'm a little obsessed with it and the bits he brings to the table. His Twitter account is mostly filled with promo stuff for the show, but his regular tweets are pretty awesome. Plus he likes to start hashtags in the middle of blizzards.
It was too cold to take off my gloves to send a text, so I typed out a message with my nose. #AwwHellSnow
— jimmy fallon (@jimmyfallon) February 18, 20157. Taylor Swift
Because even people who claim not to like her music will love her Twitter account. She posts pictures of her cats, reveals that she is somewhat technologically challenged, participates in massive inside jokes with her Tumblr fans, and makes us all wish we were her.
Sending my love to all the lonely Starbucks lovers out there this Valentine's Day.....even though that is not the correct lyric.
— Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) February 14, 20158. Stephen Colbert
Because his show has ended, we're all going to need some TLC from the man himself, and his Twitter account is a perfect way to get all the Colbert we need. He's a Lord of the Rings nerd, funny as hell, and obviously humble.
I changed the world!
— Stephen Colbert (@StephenAtHome) December 19, 20149. Rainn Wilson
AKA Dwight Shrute from The Office. His sense of humor directly translates in tweets, and they're all perfection. He's hysterical, and his company SoulPancake produces funny videos starring him.
I will never get back the time I spend rewinding things.
— RainnWilson (@rainnwilson) February 19, 201510. Kat Dennings
The Two Broke Girls star is ridiculously witty on Twitter. She asks the questions that everyone else is thinking, has super cute interactions with her boyfriend (Josh hidden-funny-guy Groban), and makes everyone wish her character in the Marvel movies was bigger.
Gummy bear delivery service, dost thou exist
