As a 21-year-old young man I consistently reminisce when life was a tad bit easier. A time where my life revolved around five things; eating, sleeping, going to basketball practice, doing homework and watching cartoons. As a kid, cartoons were my life. I remember waking up on Saturday morning and watching cartoons all weekend because that was the only time I got to watch them. Here are my top 10 cartoons I loved watching as a kid. Hopefully you can relate.

10. Courage the Cowardly Dog

This show was a Cartoon Network classic. A cool little purple dog that overcomes his fears to protect his family was a great storyline. I found this show to be very funny and at a same creepy for a young kid. But that is what made the show a must watch.

9. Scooby-Doo Where Are You!

I'm a type of guy that believes that the original is always the best. The original ScoobyDoo series that started in the 70s were the best. Fred, Daphne, Thelma, ScoobyDoo and you can't forget Shaggy were legendary characters that went on spooky mysteries. I will always remember watching these classics episodes on Boomerang. The ScoobyDoo theme song will be in head forever.

8. SpongeBob SquarePants

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob SquarePants! Who doesn't know or has ever watched this crazy, energetic and hilarious Sponge at least once in their lifetime? SpongeBob is literally on everyday, all day on Nickelodeon. There was no way to escape watching it, so I had no choice but to like it. This is probably one of the greatest cartoons ever and people still watch it to this very day.

7. Family Guy

It seems today, that all you see, is violence in movies and well you know the rest. Who doesn't love Family Guy? I consider it a cartoon for mature audiences. This raunchy, hilarious and controversial television show is very popular and I used to sneak my way to the television just to watch it because of course, my parents thought it was inappropriate. Let's just say it isn't the kind of cartoon you want young kids to watch. But if you're a teenager and older, Family Guy is the bomb dot com!

6. Sonic X

When I was in elementary school I was obsessed with the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. I had all the video games, t-shirts, posters and I would watch this show everyday Saturday morning on Kids WB. I liked Sonic because he had swagger, confidence and was faster than the speed of sound. This show was a little underrated to me, nobody ever talked about good it actually was.

5. Looney Tunes: Wile E. Coyote & The RoadRunner

Meep Meep! One of my all-time favorite classic cartoons was the non-stop chase between the Wile E. Coyote and the RoadRunner. Even though the show had little to no to dialogue, the chases these two endured was very entertaining. The Coyote could never catch RoadRunner no matter how clever his plan was.

4. Teen Titans

No, I'm not talking about the remake that's on Cartoon Network today. The original was so good, I couldn't miss it. Every episode was like a mini movie that told a more serious story than the show that's on today. Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, BeastBoy and Raven were an indestructible team. These were the first superheroes I've grew to love and respect.

3. DragonBall Z

DragonBall Z is universally recognized as one the best anime franchises ever. It is popular not just in the United States but in Japan and other countries worldwide. Whether it's the video games, clothing, tv shows or memorabilia, DragonBall Z is nothing short of fantastic. It's a show that is rally hard to grow out of. Today I would still watch a rerun of these classic action-packed episodes. But during my childhood, every Saturday night was DragonBall Z.

2. Pokemon!

If you know me, you know I love me some Pokemon. I've been a fan of these pocket monsters ever since I got my first Pokemon game with a GameBoy Color when I was 7 years old. There has been countless seasons and movies made for Pokemon and I have watched close to all of them. I'm so glad Netflix and Hulu have seasons of arguably my favorite show to relive my childhood. If you don't like Pokemon, something is wrong with you.

1. Ed, Edd n Eddy

The saddest of my childhood life is when I found out that Ed, Edd n Eddy would no longer be aired on Cartoon Network on a regular basis. This was my all-time favorite cartoon and if I have children one day, I would put this show on and watch it with them. I can literally say I have watched every single episode from this halirious series about three young mischievous boys and their adventures. Even though I this was my favorite cartoon as a child, I will watch this show for a lifetime.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
