Top 10 Best Blink-182 Songs

Blink-182 was one of the defining bands of the alternative genre in the late 90s to the early 2000s. The three-man grouping of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker has created some of the most memorable songs of the era and some of the most powerful. This group helped give a voice to the angsty teenager who didn't know what do with his or her life and that's why despite having gone their separate ways they still have a big impact on the audience who grew up listening to them. Here is a list of their top 10 best songs:

10. Wishing Well (Neighborhoods)

This song off their most recent and possibly their last album as a group was really well thought out and inspiring. With the upbeat guitar riffs and catchy chorus, it's hard for fans not to enjoy this song.

9. Asthenia (Blink-182)

This song is easy to skip over if you don't like long slow intros but if you do, you are rewarded with an upbeat song that we can all relate to. It deals with indecision and feeling "alone and tired" which everyone feels sometimes. Also, amazing drums on this one.

8. M+M's (Cheshire Cat)

M+M's is one of their songs that did not originally have Travis Barker as the drummer and it is one of their first big songs with their type of sound. While this sound is much more gritty and grunge it is still great Blink-182 music.

7. Stay Together For The Kids (Take Off Your Pants and Jacket)

This ballad tells the story of a couple who is falling apart from the point of view of the child. This song connects with all the children with divorced parents as they all know this feeling.

6. I Miss You (blink-182)

It was hard to rank this amazing song at six but that is just how talented Blink-182 is. This ballad relates to everyone because everyone has had this feeling when you just miss that one person that can make everything better.

5. All The Small Things (Enema Of The State)

Everyone knows this song with the catchiest "na na na na na na na na na's" you've ever heard. All the small things reminds you that whenever life is getting you down you can always appreciate the little things in life.

4. The Rock Show (Take Off Your Pants And Jacket)

Teenage rebellion is embodied in this song. Guy meets a girl and they fall in love and they don't care what their parents think. An experience you'll never forget.

3. What's My Age Again? (Enema Of The State)

Growing older is unavoidable. But growing up? Not so much. This song is about being older but not feeling it which a lot of college students can relate to. No one wants to be a real full-time adult quite yet.

2. First Date (Take Off Your Pants And Jacket)

That feeling when you finally ask that girl at that you've been looking at for half a semester in your English class or that guy in your marketing class and you're on the date and it's actually going well, is this song. Everyone gets first-date butterflies, especially Blink-182.

1. Adam's Song (Enema Of The State)

It is hard for me to describe this song because it is just so powerful in my opinion. The buildup to the chorus and the heavy guitar riffs with somber lyrics creates such a dichotomy. The feeling of "I never conquered when it came" and the piano in the bridge just makes this song pure poetry. Beautiful.

I know I obviously missed some songs because it is impossible to pack all of this band's incredible songs into just 10. There are songs like "Josie", "Kaleidoscope", "Dammit", "Always", "Not Now", "Feelin This", and many more. If you haven't heard these songs, I highly recommend you give them a listen regardless if you're into the genre or not.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
