Aly & AJ were a sister pop duo that debuted in the mid-2000s. Around 2010, the duo changed their name to 78violet. Aly Michalka was starred in Phil of the Future. Both of them were featured in the Disney Channel Original Movie Cow Bells. At the beginning of this April, they talked about releasing a new album, but this past week they released that they were going to have an actual reunion and Aly & AJ was going to be an actual group. Below I put together a list of the top 10 songs by the duo.

10. If I Could Have You Back

Starting off our countdown, we have If I Could Have You Back. The song was featured on the duos last album, Insomniatic, which came out in 2007. The song was more mellow than some of the others on the album, but it is still one to rock to.

9. No One

This song is a perfect one for when you are feeling down. It tells you that no one can tell you who you are. You should always be true to yourself and follow your heart. No matter what anyone tells you, you are special and you matter. Follow your heart and your dreams will come true.

8. Flattery

THIS SONG IS MY JAM!!!!! Guys can sometimes flatter themselves. This song is all about this certain type of flattery. Guys will sometimes flatter themselves with everything you say, even when you try to defend yourself. You are a strong and independent woman. This song tells you that you can be strong in a relationship.

7. Walking on Sunshine

This may be a cover but, it is also a feel good song. Walking on Sunshine won an award at the Radio Disney Music Awards for Best Song to Listen to on the Way to School. I mean, it definitely makes you feel as if nothing can tear you down so that makes sense and deserves a place on this list.

6. Do You Believe in Magic

Another cover, but also another wonderful, feel good song. It was originally recorded by The Lovin' Spoonful and Aly & AJ recorded it for the Disney Channel Original Movie Now You See It. It was also featured on the Wizards of Waverly Place Movie soundtrack.

5. Like Whoa

"Please keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times. Thank you." I love this song so much. Honestly, this is one of my favorite songs by the sisterly duo. It is on the Insomniatic album. This is may favorite album by them and this song in particular is the first song I ever heard by the two.

4. On the Ride

Friends are one of the most important things that we can have in life. On the Ride tells us that even though things can get rough, our friends will always be by our side. Things may get rough, but our friends are always there for us.

3. Rush

"DON'T LET NOBODY TELL YOU! BE EVERY COLOR THAT YOU AREEEEE!" This is another song that tells you to be yourself. No one can tell you who you are. Stay true to your morals. Be honest and real. Lying gets you no where. Be true to your heart and things will go smoothly.

2. Chemicals React

At number 2 we have Chemicals React. This song almost made it to number one. It has the jam factor that we all love. The song is on the album Insomniatic. Fun fact: Aly and AJ recorded the song in Simlish so that the song could be put on The Sims 2: Pets. They learned the Sims language just for this song.

1. Potential Breakup Song

AND THE NUMBER ONE SONG IS: Potential Breakup Song! This song made you want to breakup with your imaginary boyfriend because he didn't call you back on your birthday. Then, by the end of the song you would want to get back together with him if he would just admit he's wrong. Be honest, this is still your jam.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
