When you think of an Oreo, what do you think of? Chances are, you probably imagine the "classic" Oreo - two chocolate cookies with creme in the middle. A study was done in 2013 by Connecticut College that found that Oreos were as addictive as cocaine to lab rats - and America's hooked on them too. Besides being milk's favorite cookie, it's a household favorite for many others.
However, there's a chance that we won't always imagine Oreo in it's original chocolate and vanilla form. The company has been regularly premiering new limited edition flavors ranging from their most recent "filled cupcake" to "fruit punch." It makes you wonder if they are making new products because they taste good, or if they want to create "unique" products that people will talk about, try once and never repurchase. With so many different flavors, it's hard to decide which ones are actually worth running out to the store to get. So from one Oreo lover to another, I give you my top five favorite limited edition flavors from the selection I've tried.
5. Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Oreos
If you've ever watched The Parent Trap, you've probably dunked your Oreos in peanut butter before. Combining the two not only saves you a step, but also makes a pretty good team!
4. Winter Oreos

3. Cinnamon Bun Oreos
This is the most recent new Oreo flavor that I've tried. I noticed there was a lot of hype around it online, and it lived up to it. If you like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Dunkaroos or Cinnamon Teddy Grahams, this is for you.
2. Birthday Cake Oreos
Now, I would never say this could replace my own birthday cake because birthday cake is on my list of top three best things about your birthday. I think half the fun of these are the tiny sprinkles, and as a lover of sprinkles I'm all for it.
1. Red Velvet Oreos
This Oreo is my favorite limited edition Oreo for one reason - cream cheese frosting.
Love it or hate it, people's loyalty to the Oreo brand will lead them to rush out to the store to be the first to try their limited edition flavors. And if you haven't seen any that have appealed to you yet, who knows - maybe they're working on it.
