Everyone told me that in college I would meet the people who I would be friends with for the rest of my life. Everyone told me that college will be the best time of your life. While I thought a lot about that before coming to college, I never imagined that at such a young age I would meet the people that would be my friends forever.

To all of my college friends,

College is hard. It’s a new chapter in our lives. We are all pushed out of our comfort zones and forced to live on our own. We are forced to live with random people that we don't know at all. For myself, I have had many ups and downs. But all of you that have helped me through it all and have made these past few years for me amazing. And I wouldn't want it any other way.

I can not thank you enough for all that you have done for me. You guys have seen me at my best and at my worst. I have met the best people of my life at college. I really could not be more blessed to have such a loving and supportive group of people around me. Every person that I have met as impacted in a huge way if they know it or not.

Thank you for the crazy nights staying up till weird hours of the night laughing and talking. Thank you for the support during finals week when we all just want to die. Thank you for late night junk food runs from pizza to wings. Most of all thank you for accepting me for me. None of you have tried to change me. I feel like in college is where I started to open up. I started to be myself and be more proactive. But it was only because the people I am around.

Thank you for being real with me. You guys all tell me straight up when you see something you don’t like or what you do like. I really appreciate you protecting my feelings but also looking out for me and what I need to do. It’s so easy to get lost in your own world so I’m grateful to you guys for being my third eye to help me through those rough times in life.

My college friends aren't JUST friends, they are more like family. I have really connected with my friends that make them more like family instead of friends. I have really connected with friends here because they understand me or they don't judge me or both. I wouldn't trade any of my friends for the world.

Thank you for being my best friends, my squad, my family. You guys have shown me what true friendship this past couple of years and have helped make Pittsburgh my home. You all ha e shown me what it is to trust.

You guys are the reason I love school. You are the reason why I always push myself to be the best that I can be. You are the reason why I don't give up. The list could go on and on.

I love each and every one of you.

Love, Your College Friend

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
