To my best friend:
Thank you for dealing with me. No really, I mean it. I am so grateful that you deal with all my drama, complaining, and drunk crying. I'm sad that it took me 18 years to meet you, but then again, I'm sort of happy because you seemed like a weird kid. Even though we live very far away from each other, I just wanted you to know I appreciate you and here 10 the reasons why:
1. My problems become your problems.
Thanks for being more mad at the boys who hurt me than I actually was.
2. You force me to actually go to the library and study.
...even though we end up talking half the time anyway.
3. Spending time with you is always fun.
Hanging out with you can either mean going on city adventures or binge watching our favorite TV shows for five hours.
4. You are my constant hype man/wing man.
Please help me find a rich doctor husband when you are in medical school.
5. You believe in me more than I believe in myself.
Especially when it comes to my grades.
6. Our closets and makeup collections have become one.
And you still let me borrow your clothes even though I might have destroyed that red shirt.
7. Our FaceTime calls at 2 a.m.
And you don't get annoyed with how needy I am.
8. You tell me when I'm being an idiot and you help me be a better person.
Thanks for stopping me from making all those bad decisions... and not yelling at me when I made some anyways.
9. You buy me snacks.
This is actually the only reason why I survived finals week...and how I gained my freshman 15.
10. And most importantly, you love me despite me weird habits
...and my constant snoring (so sorry).
You are like the sister I never had, and I'm convinced my family loves you more than they love me--but then again, that is why you are my best friend.
