There are many ways this title can be portrayed in your life right now. These are just some of those types of people you may feel this for in a short and sweet manner:
1. A Person You Just Met
It was nice meeting you that one time at that place. We've managed to create quite the conversations and seemed to click so well, it's too bad you didn't feel the same way. The amount of times I've tried getting in touch with you and the amount of time I would wait for a reply from you would kill me slowly. You've probably found someone better than me after meeting me. Although I will always be waiting for you if you ever end up wanting to be friends, but I kind of doubt that will happen in the near future.
2. A Friend You've Lost
We've had so many amazing memories and they've all gotten thrown away. Letting one small problem, one small mistake, get in the way of what we had; even simply losing contact with each other makes me think I did something wrong. No matter how much I apologized, tried to give you space and only look up when I see you pass by, or try to say a simple hello, you won't acknowledge me or the actions I try to do for you. It's like you're pretending I never met you making it the informal goodbye I wasn't ready for. If that is the legitimate case, then I guess this is me saying goodbye forever.
3. A Family Member Who Forgot About You
There's only one question I have for you, and that is why? Why did you choose to lose contact with us? Was it me? Was it someone else? Why wouldn't you tell anyone? If it was a simple conflict everything would be settled by now. You were a great asset to this family, and in my eyes you still are. Please try to talk to me, even if the rest of the member don't want you to, I want you to. Family events were so much better with you there and I miss you more than you can ever imagine. So please, for my sake, talk to me! I haven't forgotten about you and I hope you haven't fully forgotten about me.
4. A Passed Loved One
When hearing the words, "you've past away," all I could do was stand in shock, try to find a chair and cry. The tears I cried meant everything whether we knew this was going to happen or not. No words describe the feeling of you not being here anymore. All we can really do is believe you in better place watching us when we are really saying more that. "If only we had one more day with you," or, "I wish you were here right now," are the prime sentences spoken everyday. That's how much we miss you and know we can't see you into we go someday. May you keep resting in peace, because we love you.
5. A Crush
Whenever I see you walk by, all I can do is smile, wave and say hello. Whenever we randomly have a chance for small talk the butterflies would get bigger. Trying to act calm, cool and collective can only work doe a short period of time. The more I know I can't have you for either you having a partner already or you don't feel the same way about me, the more I have to be strong about the consequence and believe something may happen in the near future. At least I have a feeling that a friendship or an acquaintance-ship may be in the picture and that may be the only thing that will keep me going.
