There are certain people in life who shape us into the person we are today. They leave a lasting impression on our hearts that we could never erase. There are not many people who have that power, but the few who do are irreplaceable. There is one person in my life who I can say has had that effect on me, this is for you.
Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the strongest parts of my mind. Not many people are lucky enough to be blessed with a person like you in their life and for that I am so grateful.
You came into my life at a time where I truly needed someone. I didn’t even know it was you that I needed exactly but once you were there your support was unwavering. I often wonder what my life would have been like if it weren’t for your love and encouragement and it is in those moments I realize how great of an impact you’ve made on me.
Thank you for believing in me when no one else did- not even myself. When I was down and unsure of where I was headed you always reassured me that things would be okay. When nothing I did felt good enough you always made me know that I was doing the best I could. No matter how hopeless things seemed, you always knew how to put a smile on my face. I had faith because of you.
Thank you for your sacrifices. Thank you for always doing what you could to make things easier on me, and being a shoulder to lean on any time I needed. Our late nights, long talks, and simple hugs were what got me through some days. I know you sacrificed your own happiness for mine at times. Words will never be able to describe what that means to me.
Thank you for your patience. I was not always the strongest or the easiest to deal with, but you never gave up on me. No matter how far I had fallen you were there to pick me up- even if it took a few tries.
Thank you for being you. You are strong, kind, loving, compassionate, caring and so much more. You are a blessing and I will never be able to fully explain what having you in my life has meant to me. Never change who you are inside, it is you that inspires me to be a better me. You have shown me the kind of person I want to be.
