Dear person who cared the most,
Throughout my entire life there has always been one person who has cared the most for me. Though we never really saw eye to eye on things, and we were never the best to each other we always had each other’s back. You basically raised me, and you were always someone I can turn to in my time of need. Though we had our highs and lows, and there were times when both you and I were very unbearable to each other we still made it through everything together. What I am about to say you already know, but I want to tell you thank you because you helped groom me into the person I am so here goes.
Thank you for being in my life through everything. You have there since the beginning and I really want you to know how much I appreciate you. For many years I felt a lot of hatred towards you, but now I realize everything that you did it was to make me a better person. Something recently happened to you and it made me realize how miserable it would be if anything ever happened to you. I thought I had lost you and it made me feel very depressed. I cried the entire time and knowing that I couldn't do anything about it made me feel very crappy myself. I also want to say thank you for being the only person who has truly had my back for forever.
I want you to know that I will forever be grateful for all the time that you stood by me, for all the times you believed in me even when I did not believe in myself, and for all the times that you stopped me from crying when I was. When people walked out on us you never left even when you could have, and for that I am forever grateful. I am forever grateful for all the times you stood up for me and defended me when I could not do it for myself. I am grateful for you as a whole. You were everything for to me that I ever needed. You were like a father, friend, mother, disciplinarian and so much more to me. You were always there and you always kept strong. Even in you most troubling times you stood strong.
I thank you for being my provider, protector and friend when I needed you to be. I thank you especially for being someone I can count on most of the times. Though you may get me angry I want you to know that I love you, and I am always here for you. No matter what may happen I will always be here for you. I will always have your back like you have had me. Finally thank you for everything that you have sacrificed for me. I know that you have sacrificed a lot for me over the many years, and I know that I never told you thank you before but I want it to be known now.
Thank you so much for being in my life, and thank you for being the only person who was truly there for me. I know there is not a lot I can give you in life, but thank you for everything. I love you, and appreciate you for everything.
