To The People That Mean The Most To Me

As we get older, it gets hard to spend time with the ones who mean the most to you. It's even harder to tell and show them how much you love and appreciate them and all of the things they do. I want to take a moment to thank those who mean the absolute world to me because without you guys, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

To my mother: thank you for being the best mom and the best friend a girl could ask for. You do so much for everyone constantly and never ask for anything in return, well maybe for us to do the dishes every once in a while. You work so hard to make sure we have the best life possible and even when you feel your worst you're still doing your best. We don't always see eye to eye and maybe my sister and I don't always make the best decisions in the entire world, but I can always count on you to bed my biggest support system, my shoulder to cry on, and the one person I know I can go to for a laugh. Thank you for everything you do and more. Even though we don't always tell you, we appreciate you so much. I love you.

To my big sister: thanks for being the biggest pain in my ass. We laugh together, cry together, steal each other's clothes and food, and fight over the stupidest things. But you were and always will be my first best friend. I've learned more from you than I probably ever needed to and have spent more time with you probably more than I've ever wanted to. In end, it's all worth it. Thank you for holding my hand through the good times and bad and giving me the most beautiful niece. I'll remember to put you in my thank you speeches when I'm rich and famous. Love you muchly.

To my niece: I promise to always protect and love you. I will always be the person you can come to with things you don't want to talk to your mom about. I will always be your best friend and favorite person and someone who will love you unconditionally. You are going to go so far and you are so beautiful. Don't ever forget that. I love you so much.

To my best friend(s): thanks for making my life a party. Through the good, bad, and the ugly (I still hate you for letting me dye my hair that color red), you've seen the best and worst in me and still chose to stick by my side. We have shared so many laughs and tears and smiles and memories that if you were to ever leave and tell anyone I would probably have to kill you. But anyways, thank you for being the one(s) I can always go to with the most embarrassing stories, the best news, and the worst moments. Love you so much!

To my boyfriend: thank you for dealing with my crazy 24/7. You spend the most time with me out of everyone and it's all completely voluntary. You deserve an award for all of the things you've had to deal with, and because of that, I can't thank you enough. You tell me I'm beautiful when I think I look my worst. You tell me I'm funny even when I can clearly see on your face that you don't think I'm funny. You watch all of the stupid videos I show you and try to show interest even when you have none. You let me cry to you over stupid things, you listen to me laugh at my own stupid jokes, and you make me smile when I really am not in the mood. I love and appreciate you and everything you do more than you'll ever know. You work so hard all the time and don't always get the credit that's due but just know that I am always cheering you on and supporting you in every way. You're my person. I love you.

Always remember to take the time to tell the people that you care about that you love and appreciate them. Life is short and it's the little things that matter. Never take anyone for granted and always be thankful for the people in your life that care about you.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
