There are so many people who do not like cats, and I do not understand why. Actually I could understand their reasoning if they have met mean cats, but if you have met the sweet cats, I don't get it. If you spend more time with them, you just might fall in love. So if you do not like cats or kittens, here are some reasons why you should rethink the way you think about them.
1. Although you might be allergic, that does not mean that you have to dislike cats.
Those cute little fur babies can't help the fact that you are allergic to them. All they want is a little loving.
2. They are hilarious.
Cats are some of the funniest animals. They like to look out windows, a lot. They just might make weird noises when they see birds flying around outside, and they just might destroy your blinds. That does not and will not ever change the way I feel about them because they are the sweetest. They love to chase catnip infested toys, and when they smell weird or unique smells (like their catnip infested toys), they just might open their mouth in the freakiest way. To my cat who does this, I always semi-shout, "Close your mouth Charizard," with a laugh. They are funny about boxes, and apparently cucumbers too.
3. They are so, incredibly soft and cuddly.
I just want to pet them all day long. They are extremely soft, and I just can't get enough of petting them. As soon as I get home, I just have to pick them up (against their will because they just can't wait to get back to the window), and pet them until I have had my fill (which is never). Having inside cats may make you like them more because they don't get leaves and twigs in their fur, and they won't leave you presents on your porch.
4. They are very cute.
When I see pictures of cats, I get so happy. My mom gives me kitten calendars every single Christmas because I love them so much. How can you not think cats are cute? You make think they are cute and just have another reason for not liking them, but they are the most adorable little animals. Yes, dogs are cute too, and I love dogs. However, I own cats, so I root for the cats. You know, as much as some of you may think, they don't all scratch people to death, and they don't all scratch furniture either! You have to train them, but it's worth it.
5. They are easy to take care of.
I have two cats, and I could totally get more. I desire more. They are so easy to take care of. All you have to do is scoop the litter and refill the food and water. I mean, sometimes you have to sweep because they just love to kick litter everywhere, but that's about it. The rest is showing them love, and they show you love back.
Maybe now, you might rethink your dislike for cats. You may just have met the wrong cats before. You should meet mine. They are the cutest. There is something amazing about having a cat in your lap at the end of the day.
