I personally want to thank you. I want to thank you for making me realize that fighting for you just wasn’t worth it anymore.

You made me realize that I can do so much better! Without worrying about you, doing whatever it is you do, I can now be focused on myself and my goals in life. I thought for so long that you were the one that I wanted to be with, but I guess I was wrong. Now I am moving on and doing so much better for myself and now I’m stress-free!

With a little help from my friends, I realized that you were up to no good and that wasn’t acceptable anymore. My friends were very supportive throughout the last year and a half of me trying to make things work out. We both know now that neither of us wanted to make it work. Yes, it hurts knowing things couldn’t work, but with the help of my amazing friends, I am okay with it all now. The best part about this whole thing is that I finally opened my eyes. I opened my eyes and realized that I don’t need a toxic guy in my life! Also, I finally came to the conclusion that I don’t need a guy holding me back from trying to reach my goals in life. I have come so far from the way I was when we were a thing - I now do things that make me happy.

So, ladies, if you have a man in your life that is holding you back from reaching your life goals and is not trying to help brighten your future, let him go; you don’t need him! You are so much better off without him and making yourself happy! I know it doesn’t seem possible right now, and he may seem like Mr. Right, but trust me - he’s not going to be there for you in the end. With the support of your friends, it is possible! No matter what the outcome may be, your friends will be there to support you.

With all of that being said, don’t settle for anything less than you deserve. You need to do what is best for you and your goals! I have moved on and it was the best decision of my life. If I can do it, you can too!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
