Every girl has been in this situation before. You meet a guy and you think he's great. He seems different than the others and you finally have some bit of hope that you could be more to him. More than just another girl. More than just a girl he thinks about every once in a while.

You have all of these great thoughts and expectations as to what could happen to you and then, of course, he ruins everything once again. You find out he's been saying the same things to you that he has been to that girl on twitter. He's snap chatted every girl he knows and he hangs out with them all.

You feel hurt and that you have less worth than ever before. You can't help but be sad because you got your hopes up. I promise that's normal, but I'm telling you that no guy is worth your tears or your time when he makes you sad. If you doubt him for even one second, move on.

It's okay to want to be more to a guy, but you can't let yourself get stuck on those ideas. Don't try and make him seem better than he is. Stay true to yourself and your idea of how a guy should treat you.

Someday, you will find a guy that will want to be more to you. He'll be the one trying the most to spend time around you. He'll be the one that worries about not knowing how much you like him. He'll treat you like you're the most perfect girl that he has ever seen. That's how a guy should make you feel. He should make you feel like you're treasured and valued in every way.

Until that guy comes around, don't let yourself get attached to guys you can't trust. Keep your head up, go out with your girls and focus on being the best you that you can be. You have so much ahead of you and no guy should have the power to make you feel any less successful or happy.

You deserve happiness, time to focus on yourself and yourself only. You deserve the world, so don't ever let wanting to be more to a loser guy tear you down.

Let's be real here. Young guys normally don't have a clue what they want in a girl. They'd rather mess around with any girl they might find attractive. Don't be the girl that he walks all over. Don't be the girl that he can get whenever he wants. Be strong in your values, love yourself and don't let any guy have you that doesn't deserve you.

Be the girl that he wants to be around. Be the girl he wants to know more about. Stay classy and focused on your goals and your happiness. I promise you that there are many beautiful things in this world to make you happy, so a guy really isn't needed all the time.

When you're down about the loser guy, dance in the rain, take tons of pictures with your friends, eat ice cream, call your mom. These things will always help in those times you're sad.

At the end of the day, there are so many more important things in this life to focus on. Keep yourself first and never let wanting to be more get the best of you. You deserve so much better.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
