To the girl who knows what she wants out of life and knows how she has to get there, just keep doing you. You’re going to get there.
To the girl out there who is strong enough to know what she wants and isn’t going to settle for anything less than that, don’t settle. Keep waiting, because something worth your time is coming. And it may be next week or it may be next year, but it is on its way. It is so darn easy to just want to give in and give up on your goals, but don’t.
To the girl who knows what she wants but isn’t sure if all this work and frustration is going to be worth it, it is. It always is. Stay focused on what you really want and everything will come your way. When you aren’t looking for ulterior means of happiness, real happiness and real gratification will come flooding your way.
What you want, whatever it is that you want, is so attainable, and don’t think for a minute that it is out of reach. One of the best ways to put it is this: ‘We walk by faith, not by sight.’ – 2 Corinthians 5:7, which can be found in my Instagram bio, but more commonly found in the Bible (that was a joke). We can’t always see what is coming and it is easy to become confused about why you are the way you are, but we have to have faith in God that He made you this way for a specific reason, and that the best is yet to come.
Props to you for having ambition and having a sense of direction with what you want to do with your life. You shouldn't feel like you have to apologize for that.
Oftentimes, knowing what you want and not stopping until you get there can be perceived as intimidating to boys. But so freakin' what? A guy who is that easily intimidated is not a guy who is even worth your time in the first place. Girls like this have their priorities straight, they are not ones to put up with any BS, and they certainly are not the type of girl to turn into someone else just to keep some boy around for a little while. A wise lady named Madonna once put this idea into these beautiful words: “I’m tough, I’m ambitious, and I know what I want. If that makes me a bitch, okay.”
Don’t change how you are because you see another girl getting the attention that you want for doing other things that you don’t do. Keep being headstrong and stubborn because it’s getting you places, and people are going to take notice of that.
