You're only young once, and this can be the perfect time to get away and see the world.

Everyone says the perfect time to travel is when you're young. Sure, you might not have the money to do so, and it might seem big and scary, but it honestly can be so rewarding. I, myself, have not visited nearly enough of the places I hope to someday, but I just have the urge to travel and see the world and hope that in the near future I get the chance to.

My advice: do it. Get out there and see the world. All of it. There is no better time then now, while you're young, and have a decent amount of free time. You can learn so much about yourself that you didn't think possible and can come back feeling refreshed. Think how amazing it would be to see the world or another country from a different perspective.

One of the best times to travel is when you're in college. Most schools have a study abroad program that sets up the whole trip for you. You even can take classes or get an internship while visiting a different country, which can be really rewarding toward your schooling. Whether you plan on going for a semester or a week, either can be the perfect way to explore this world.

People claim that it is really expensive, but most schools have scholarships available that can help in a big way. You might meet some great friends and will have killer Instagram pictures to post when you return!

Another great way to travel is fresh out of college. This is the perfect time before you lock in your future career/job, and it can truly help you clear and refresh your mind before jumping into your full-time job. This is also a perfect opportunity to figure out exactly what you plan to do for your career, while taking some time off to explore. Sure, the money might be harder to come up with, but if you can figure out how to pay for the trip, it can be such a rewarding time.

Traveling can be perfect whether you're alone or with a few close friends. It is completely up to you. Maybe take a fun trip with the girls, and maybe take some time to explore the world on your own. Either way is perfect for clearing your head and getting that refreshed start you hope for.

Don't forget to take lots of pictures, try all of the food you can, meet many new people and explore every chance you get. But most importantly, don't forget to enjoy the moment you're in and soak up all the great sights and opportunities while away!

Traveling the world may seem like an unrealistic dream, but it actually can become a reality fairly easy. Finding the right tools to help plan your trip and figuring out how to swing the money situation can lead you into the right direction to see the world. I know it may seem scary, but you're only young once and this is the perfect time to leave everything behind (just for a little while) to discover something greater.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
