Hey you,
I see you out there. I see that you try to hide behind a forced smile and an admission of "Yeah, I'm okay. Why wouldn't I be?" I see the pain behind your eyes as you try to laugh at the joke your friend made so people wouldn't ask you what's wrong. You know how I can see you? I was you not too long ago.
I've been where you are, and I know what you look like. The people who finally figured out I wasn't okay were the ones who paid attention to what I looked like, and they told me I looked just like you do right now. You want to be fixed, you want to be helped, but you're afraid that your pleas will go unheard. That you'll be seen as "different" or "weak" or "unstable" for reaching out for help. I promise you, no one will think that of you. If people do, then they don't matter to you at all. Those who love you will want the best for you, and they will help you to be your happiest and best self.
What I want you to know is that whether you're reading this across the room or across the country from me, I am here for you. I'll be your anchor if you'd like me to be. I know exactly what you're feeling right now, and this is me reaching out to you and telling you that you are not alone. You are not a failure. You are not worthless. You are not nothing.
You are a beautiful woman who was put on this earth to serve a very special purpose in the lives of those you surround yourself with. Even if you haven't found what you were meant to do here, you will in time. That just means you have to keep living your best and fullest life.
There is no singular answer to the meaning of life; there is, however, an answer to the meaning of your life, and you get to determine what that is. Don't stop searching until you find what it is, whether it takes you one year or 50 years. There are people out there for you to meet, and they may not realize that you can impact them in a drastic way, but you have to continue to live. Push forward, and always strive to be your best self.
Keep your chin up, darling. Things may seem tough right now, but each morning, the sun comes up, breaks the horizon, and stretches its warm rays to find you and urge you to start your day's work. Every day is a new day, and you can make each new day the best day by standing tall and keeping sight of the incredible person you are and will become.
If it's any consolation to you, I believe in you, and I want what's best for you no matter what. I sometimes have moments when my self-esteem is low, but then I remember who cares for me, who made me, and who they want me to be: the best version of myself. Remember, you can be a light to someone's bad day just by being there, and I hope you know how important you are. Don't stay down; rise like the eagle, spread your wings, and fly to the moon and back.
Find yourself, be yourself, and love yourself.
I love you.
