First of all, you are aco-taco. You can't help what comes out of your mouth sometimes and you find yourself doing weird things before you can stop yourself, it's just your nature. So throw in trying to start talking to someone and you have yourself a right royal mess (like, there is no going back). Trying to sound intelligent to your crush, forget about it.

So that is just the beginning of your hardships when it comes to starting a relationship. Like maybe, they should make a class on how to function like a normal human being when someone starts talking to you. Like maybe, 'Dating For The Awkwardly Challenged'. This person must see some potential that I don't see in me for getting past the awkward phase (highly unlikely).

What is even worse is, you have no idea if someone is flirting with you or what. It either goes right over your head or you're trying to be like Sherlock Holmes, deciphering the text. You often turn to other people to weigh in and tell you what they can gather from the situation. Or the opposite scenario occurs, where you are starting to catch the feels for someone else and you are trying to flirt. And that person either doesn't pick up on your vibes or you are probably doing something wrong. Probably the latter, but what's new? The struggle is real when it comes to forming sentences to attract that one person.

So for anything to go anywhere, this person has got to be persistent. It's not that you are unobservant, you are just completely clueless. Like, boy, keep knocking on the door until the light turns on in my brain and finally tells me that you are interested in me. It's just that I am a little foreign to the world of relationships and flirting (I am sorry in advance). Trust me, it's just as frustrating for me as it is for you, as the person that is trying their hardest to catch my eye.

So to all the boys out there trying to catch a girls eye, keep trying. Because honestly, the girl is probably just clueless when it comes to relationships and she is aco-taco. One day, you will learn the flirting game and get in the relationship that you have been wanting to after lots and lots of texts.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
