Dear Little Sis,

Thank you. If I could put to words all of the different ways you have inspired me, this letter would become a book.

You are phenomenally strong and have extended that inner strength to the people that surround you; it amazes me. You amaze me. You glow with beauty, inside and out, and your light shines so brightly in any room, and it is highly contagious. When I see the determination in your eyes, it makes me feel like I can accomplish anything.

Your actions and perspectives produce the desire for positive change. Thank you for challenging me to go outside of my comfort zone, and encouraging me to fight through challenges in my own life, as you fight through yours. The way that you always advocate smiles over frowns has greatly affected the way I look at the obstacles I encounter. I know that through any up or down in our lives, you will be there, because you are someone who never gives up. And you have inspired me to live by those words, never give up.

I'm so grateful that the Lord made you my sister, because I don't think anyone else could accept my banana obsession as much as you do. You are truly a blessing, and the apple of my eye. I don't thank God enough for your presence in my life, but I surely will start.

Love you more than all of the bananas, stars, and coffee in the entire universe (a lot).
