To Our Veterans

To all the brave men and women who have served for our country, thank you. Thank you for risking your own life to protect me and my family, our community, and our country. Your courage inspires young men and women to be heroes just like you. Today, and every day we honor and celebrate your selflessness. I recognize that freedom is not free, as you fight for our country’s freedoms.

This Veterans Day, I will celebrate and remember our veterans and freedoms by saying a prayer for the service men and women, and their families. I will remember that as an American I am blessed to live in a country where people are willing to risk their life for mine. There are many ways we can celebrate our veterans. Below is a list of simple acts of kindness you can do for our veterans this year:

  1. Write a Thank You card
  2. Fly a flag—correctly
  3. Wear red, white, and blue
  4. Simply say “thank you”
  5. Attend a local Veterans Day event

To those who have served our country in peace, thank you and happy Veterans Day.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
