To my hopefully high school sweetheart,
You are probably going to think I'm dumb for writing this, but I don't care.
I don't even know where to begin. We have known each other and gone to school with each other since sixth grade, our mom's went to high school together, and your grandpa does all of the mechanics for my car. I remember we made fun of each other all through middle school, and to be honest, I thought you were a total loser from the band, just like I was. But then one day in our junior year, I looked at you a little differently. So I asked you for your number, and that's where it all started.
When I first started talking to you, I was about to leave for New York and D.C. over spring break. I felt bad for leaving because I wanted to hang out with you over spring break, but I went anyway. We didn't quit talking when I was over there, and that's when you asked me to be your girlfriend. From there, we have learned about what we do and do not like, we know what hurts each other and what makes each other happy. We even know each other's favorite food and the things that we don't like to eat, even though we love to eat everything! We have been together for almost a year and seven months, and even though we have had our fair share of up's and down's, I wouldn't have spent this time with anyone else.
You love me so much, you care about me more than I can imagine, you tell me things that I probably don't want to hear, but I need to hear them anyway. Even though I have wanted to punch you and get sassy with you so many times, I know that you are my huge teddy bear and would do anything for me if I asked. Both of us have said some mean things to each other, but that hasn't stopped our relationship.
