The more I look back on my high school experience, the more I realize I couldn't have survived it without you guys. Although not seeing you guys every day is harder than I could ever imagine, I love watching you all kill it in college. Here are some thank you's I never had the chance to say, but always wanted to.

Thank you for always being there for me.

On the good days, and more importantly, the bad, you guys were always by my side. When I needed a shoulder to cry on, or someone to vent to, you were always there.

Thank you for making me laugh until I cry.

Most of my favorite memories I have with you guys, are the ones where we couldn't stop laughing. From our countless inside jokes to just laughing about the little things in life, I cannot tell you how many times I have ended up crying from laughing so hard.

Thank you for making me the person I am today.

I cannot stress this enough-- I really don't know where I would be today if it weren't for you. My sense of humor has strengthened and my comfort zone has widened and it all thanks to you guys.

Thank you for making high school bearable.

High school was the definition of an emotional rollercoaster. You guys made the sad days happier and the happy days memorable. From freshmen year, when we didn't know how to get to our classes, to senior year when we committed to college, I wouldn't want anyone else by my side.

Thank you for being the best friends I could ever ask for.

I am more than lucky to have you guys in my life and will forever be grateful for the amazing memories we have. I am counting down the days until I can hug you guys again.

Lastly, and most importantly, thank you for making me proud to be your friend.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
