To My Future Sorority Sisters

In honor of my decision of going through recruitment in less than 100 days,

I want to write a letter to the women who will be my sisters. Words can not describe my excitement to start this journey with the group of ladies who will potentially be the best friends I could ever have. College is a time to meet lifelong best friends and future bridesmaids. Here's my letter to you girls.

Dear Sisters,

I am so excited to meet you. Even though I have no idea what chapter you're apart of, or anything about you, I know that I will love you. Words can not explain how excited I am to have you girls as a role model, a mentor, and a best friend. I haven't really had a best friend to tell everything to, so I welcome you with open arms to love me for who I am.

I can't wait to share endless laughs, conversations, and memories with you. My heart is so joyful at the thought of meeting you all. I know that I won't ever be alone. I'm comforted to know that I will have you several ladies to help me feel happy, successful, and loved. We will be sisters from the day I join you, to the day I die. The commitment and the bond we will share makes me emotional. I can not wait to have true friends who will stand next to me during every battle I will face.

Not only am I excited for you to be MY friend, but I am elated to be YOUR friend. I can't wait to contribute everything I can to be there for you, to love you, and to help you succeed. The friendship we will give to each other is such a gift that I am ready to give and receive with you.

You are a very special, driven, talented group of women and I can't wait to feel just as special and confident as all of you.

No matter what sorority I become a part of, I know that it will be perfect because you have chosen me just as much as I have chosen you. I know that I will end up with the most amazing group of women. I truly can not wait for this experience. We are coming up to recruitment quickly, and I am growing more anxious every day.

We may have not met yet, however, I love you. I love you with all of my heart. My heart longs for the friendships I am about to make in less than 90 days.

I hope you're ready to welcome me and love me just as much as I am ready to welcome you into my life and heart.
