To My Friends For Life

Psychologists say if a friendship lasts 7 years then it will last for life. Whether that fact is true or not we far surpassed that point. I constantly tell you guys out of the worst years of my life I got the best things that have ever happened to me. We've proven our friendship can survive through thick and thin, come hell or high water, no matter what we have each other's backs.

Thank you for being the most loyal people I have besides my family. I know no matter what is going down, I have you in my corner and you don't how much that means.

Thank you for supporting my dreams and having the good sense to tell me when I'm doing something that could inhibit me from reaching those dreams.

Thank you for standing by me in times of love and loss. Lord knows we've had some doozies.

Thank you for being there to witness my moments from brilliance to stupidity and everything in between, because I have enjoyed watching yours just as much.

Thank you for taking on my family and becoming a part of it. I love that you just walk in the house and call my parents mama and pops like they are your own.

Thank you for the times where we all get together from far and wide and it's like nothing has changed. We catch up on the new and reminisce about the old.

Thank you for being the sisters I never had.

I know since we were kids we would talk about living together, being in each other's weddings, and being aunt to any and all children that come along. Now that we are getting closer to those things being reality, I can't wait.

I look forward to meeting the person you are going to marry and welcoming him into our family, but also telling him he gets one shot at this and if he messes up, his ass is grass.

I look forward to standing by you at the altar, in the woods, on the beach, as you become someone's wife.

I look forward to watching you grow in or change your career path and blaze the trails here or abroad.

I look forward to the times I get to welcome your kids into this crazy world, and love them as fiercely as I do you.

I look forward to the times where I will tell your kids about all the wild and wacky moments we had when we were their age.

I look forward to the day where we get to watch our kids play and grow up together.

I look forward to those times where your husband is going to come to me in those moments that he just doesn't know what to do with you and I'll counsel him through it then send him back to you. Just as you would do for me.

I look forward to us traveling and taking road trips together while we leave the boys and kids at home.

I look forward to so many things that are coming up in our lives, new adventures and roles to take on, but I love that I get to do all of these things with you guys.

They say to pick your friends wisely because they'll be the ones by your side after your significant other kicks the bucket. I never had to worry about that, because I found my tribe a long time ago. Though we may not live in the same places, or see each other on a regular basis I know nothing will ever change. I love you guys.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
