To My College Friends As We Part For Summer

To My College Best Friends,

Thank you for filling the last nine months with laughter, tears, fun and the best memories I could have ever imagined. Normally, we are happy when a school year ends, but my heart is filled with a little bit of sadness knowing I won’t get to see your pretty faces every day.

From taco nights and library dates to endless Dunkin runs and more, I will miss having my partners in crime by my side every step of the way. There are certain people that walk into your life that you know will be there forever. Thank you for being those girls.

The group chat filled with stories of our funniest moments and mid-day mess-ups better not stop just because we part for summer. Only true friends can laugh at each other's stupidity and have it be completely acceptable. I can always count on a good laugh from you gals to brighten my day.

Your closet is my closet, and my closet is your closet. Your food is my food, and my food is your food. Thank you for living out the motto my momma always taught me, "sharing is caring." There is no one else I'd rather eat absurd amounts of food with, binge watch Netflix with and do absolutely nothing with. Although the adventures are fun, you make even the most boring days delightful.

I look forward to a summer full of road trips to visit you gals, taking me all over and filling my summer with adventure. You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. Although I won’t have my besties who double as overprotective body guards, I know they would drop anything to be there for me.

Thank you for supporting me through my shinning moments and the not so bright ones that I am sure we will be laughing about in 20 years at one of our weddings. There is no one else I'd rather stay up all night with, spend all my time with, laugh with and cry with. I truly would be lost without you friends. Knowing that I got my girls to love and support me thought thick and thin makes life a whole lot easier.

You have all come into my life at different times, each making my college journey more memorable. To the people who say you meet your forever friends in college... you could not be more right. The word friend “F.R.I.E.N.D.” to me reads “friend to the end.” No matter where our crazy lives take us I know that we will always have each other. Thank you for helping me become the person I am today. As this school year comes to an end let the countdown begin until another crazy year with my college besties begins.
