There are so many perks to having a guy best friend. You can hang out with them completely drama-free, you can get a guy’s perspective, and they’re just fun to have around! Hanging out with my girl friends is great! But, sometimes there’s just nothing quite like hanging out with the guys. I feel like I take advantage of it, so this is me saying thanks.

Thanks for telling me the truth.

You never lie to me, which you know I value more than anything. You always tell me what’s on your mind and tell me exactly how it is, which sometimes girls try to sugarcoat.

Thanks for letting me send you horrendous snapchats and only occasionally screen-shotting them.

I mean, I’m really not one to send snapchats trying to actually look good because that takes too much work, and I don’t care that much. But, thank you for not judging me too much about them and for sending bad ones back.

Thanks for teaching me the inside scoop about boys.

You know I’m a curious soul, so thanks for dealing with all the questions I ask about the male gender and for actually answering them.

Thanks for all the endless advice you give me.

I make bad decisions sometimes, and other times you prevent me from making them. You get me through the good and bad in life.

Thanks for approving all my outfits before I go out.

I have most certainly had some days where I, as well as many others, question why I would consider leaving the house wearing certain things. I know I would have a lot more of those moments if it weren’t for you.

Thanks for always going through tens of pictures and picking just the right one for me to post. With my indecisiveness, it can be really hard for me to pick myself.

Thanks for letting me eat like a pig in front of you and not making me feel self-conscious about it.

I hate eating with boys usually because I don’t want to eat too much or spill or encounter any awkward eating moments. I am so beyond grateful that I don’t feel that way with you. I can eat and order whatever I want, which I do appreciate because you know I love my food.

Thanks for gossiping with me and taking my side when I need it.

I love telling you everything that’s going on in my life, and part of that is venting about things that are upsetting me. When that happens, you usually always know exactly what to say to make me feel better. You’ve always got my back.

But, also, thanks for telling me when I’m being ridiculous and freaking out over nothing.

That’s not to say that sometimes my emotions are a little irrational. And when that happens, I have you to thank for keeping me grounded.

Thanks for dealing with all my mood swings when mother nature pays a visit.

You still talk to me and apologize for me feeling so horribly. You’ll let me vent about my pain without cringing too much, and you let me hit every single emotion in a span of 15 seconds without judgment.

And, thanks for not being offended when I tell you you’re annoying me.
