It's time for church.

Today, it seems almost every Christian in the world has heard the words "Elevation Church." It's no surprise that Elevation is one of, if not the most popular, church established in the U.S. right now. Between their awesome worship team that produces and distributes their own songs, and a group of AMAZING pastors dispersed at each location, it makes for an awesome church body.

I first discovered Elevation Church during my senior year of high school. I'd heard a few of their worship team's songs when they'd randomly pop up on my Spotify account, but I had no idea what Elevation Worship truly meant, or the church they connected back to.

I spent the summer after I graduated from high school tuning into Jon Jorgenson's "A Day In The Word," where he'd briefly cover a chapter of a book in the Bible. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Jorgenson's videos. I honestly love them to death.

But that was all I was doing, seven minutes of the Bible a day.

And it wasn't like I was buried in work up to my neck. I wasn't actually working at the time and most of my days after those seven minutes every morning were spent by the pool with my phone, even though my heart was obviously aching for more of God.

When I finally tuned in to one of Lead Pastor Steven Furtick's sermons from Elevation, he was in the middle of his series entitled "Waymaker" and the sermon was called "Never Not Enough." That title immediately spoke to my heart and I just knew I needed to hear what Furtick had to say.

In the sermon, Steven spoke on John 6:1-13, where Jesus feeds the five thousand, then proceeds to preach to them on the word of God. It's an awesome passage because it shows the pure magnitude of Christ and His power. While the title of the passage is "Jesus Feeds The Five Thousand," today Christians believe it was actually more because that number only accounted for the men, not women and children as well.

Steven brought out at the beginning of the sermon that, in this moment of Jesus eating with 5000+ people, those crowds were mostly following Him because of what He could give them, not simply for who He was.

He also made the point that, in Christ, you are NEVER NOT ENOUGH! That was a huge revelation for me, as a young girl who has always been plagued with the belief of not being enough.

Truth be told, I have struggled for years about not being enough and, as a result, constantly trying to excel and perfect myself so I'd eventually become enough. For my parents, my extended family, my friends, my church, really anyone but God. I dug myself into a hole trying to be perfect and completely denying the fact that only God can fill that title.

Pastor Steven also stated that, until Jesus is enough for you, other material things will never be enough for you.

That stopped me in my tracks and truly made me reassess how my relationship with God was and what it was built on. That was the message that had a major part in changing my relationship with God.

I still catch myself trying from time to time to act or present myself as perfect and completely unproblematic, but I have a better understanding of the grace of God, and that I don't have to try to perfect myself, because Jesus already does that.

In His sacrifice and love, I am not made perfect, but I am made whole.

And Jesus' definition of wholeness is way more important to me now than trying to embody the world's standard of perfection!

THAT'S why every millennial Christian, even every Christian alive in the world today, should be a part of Elevation Church's e-Fam. They stream on Facebook and upload sermons onto their app each week so people in parts of the world without an Elevation Church campus can tune in.

And trust me, this church is changing lives and, in the process, changing the world for Christ. You're going to want to be a part of this family, It's a decision you definitely won't regret.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
