Senior year. It’s crazy to think about how quickly time flies, how prominent moments in our lives quickly become distant memories. I remember being eighteen like it was yesterday, graduating high school and ready to start the new independent and freedom based journey in my life. Going off to college was exciting, I can remember shopping for dorm room and school supplies any free chance that I had. August 23, its move in day. As my family and I took the hour long drive to Immaculata, I can recall my dad telling me how different it will be to live away from home , how many new friends and new experiences I will have and also how quickly my freshman year will go by. My freshman year filled with various adventures, new sisters and life lessons, flew by in the blink of an eye. Move out day. As I drove away from the place I called home that year I can remember my day saying "see I told you it would be over before you know it.” The next two years were full of sorority events, school work, movie nights, weekend trips and countless midnight conversations with some of my best friends. Senior year. From 18 to almost 22 (in 4 months) I have grown tremendously and for that I am thankful. I am thankful to my parents for always being supportive and to my closest friends (you know who you are) for helping me blossom into the person I am today because without you I'd be lost. With school starting in about a month I am looking forward to the countless adventures, late nights out and my last year as a college student. A few things I will definitely be doing this year are;
1. Making a bucket list
2. Taking weekend trips
3. Eating out as much as possible
And making sure to cherish every moment
