Last fall, I wrote an article titled, "7 Thoughts Summer Babies Have When The Seasons Change," and now that it's FINALLY starting to feel like summer, I figured I would follow that up with 7 thoughts summer babies have when it's FINALLY our time to shine.

1. Our birthdays are coming up

Warm weather, presents, being around loved ones and getting an excuse to pig out on food? Yes, please. Geminis, Cancers, Leos, Virgos, it's OUR TIME.

2. Naturally curly hair is in season

Beachy waves or woke up like this curls don't fly in the fall and winter weather, as everyone opts for a more sleeker look. This means naturally curly-haired gals suffer, but not now. Now, we unleash our frizz and our curls, because it won't stay dry for too long. #beachbum

3. Time to drink iced coffees all day long!

PSLs, who? Hand me a cookie dough iced coffee, stat.

4. Day drinking is more acceptable

Lounging by the pool all day is great, but it's even better is if there's a spiked drink in your hand. And no one bats an eye if it's only 1 o'clock! Drink on!

5. Staying out late means nothing because the sun never sets!

Well, it sets around 8-9pm, which is a LOT better than winter's 5:45pm sharp bedtime.

6. You don't have to be picky with your wardrobe

Throw on a sundress over your swimsuit and a pair of flip flops and you're a style icon. No one has time for fancy outfits this season

7. You don't have to wear tons of makeup

Summer is all about bearing your natural, sun-kissed face and hair, so leave the foundation, concealer and contouring for fall and winter, Let your beautiful face enjoy the sun!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
