Oh back to school, the best time of the year. Once the chaos from move in day, back to school shopping, and orientation week die down, it's finally ready to get back in the routine of classes. And while some people like to take advantage of the easiest week of classes, others are left in complete and utter fear of the semester to come. Whichever category you fit into, you've probably had these thoughts before.

1. The moment of disgust when your alarm goes off for your first morning class.

Why couldn't they offer this class at a different time? Or at least push the day back so no one has classes before 9 or 10am. Because waking up for 8am's never gets easier.

2. Not really understanding why the first day requires a full 50 minutes of classes.

If I were a professor, I would call students in a good 30 minutes late - there's just no need for 50 or 75 minutes on the first day!

3. Skimming the syllabus and realizing just what you've gotten yourself into.

No no no, this can't possibly be required for my major. Please tell me there's a mistake here somewhere.

4. And realizing the $170 textbook you thought you could get by without is actually required.

And not being able to find a used or rentable copy anywhere. Why do bad things happen to good people.

5. The heartbreak of the Powerpoint slides switching from "Syllabus" to "Lecture 1."

Oh... This is why the full class time is necessary. Aren't there enough days in the semester to get through this, do we really have to start this right now?!

6. Filling in all the important due dates in your planner like the organized goddess that you are.

And then shedding a tear when all professors schedule their midterms in the same week. Hello wave of midterms, goodbye sanity.

7. Going back home to nap and binge watch Netflix immediately.

Well... I guess I still have a good amount of free time before the ball gets rolling in each of my classes. And I've never been so tired before in my life.

8. And finally, making it to the weekend.

Because weekends make the day to day struggles worth it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
