It's almost impossible to go through college without getting stuck in at least one 8:00 am class. No one likes getting up before the sun rises and no one likes being lectured before their first cup of coffee. Here are just a few of the things I think about during my morning classes instead of paying attention.
When the teacher complains about you being late
When a girl stumbles in with her makeup from the night before and x's on her hands from the clubs, but you stayed in all night watching Netflix
Planning your escape from class 45 minutes early
When no one raises their hand to answer the question, so you give in and do it
When the professor says, "stop packing up, class is not over"
"Alright class, first we'll have a pop quiz on the reading from last week"
When it's too early to even accomplish mundane tasks
"Please read this article to yourself quietly and be ready to discuss"
When you get sassy with your professor because you haven't had your coffee yet
