I absolutely love Bath and Body Works. When I was younger, it was a cool thing to have, as I got a bit older, it kind of went out of style, but guess what? IT'S BACK. And better than ever. If you haven't been lately, they even sell bath bombs now. Big stuff is happening people.
1. Many of the "new" scents that come out are the exact same ones they have always had, just with a different name.
I'm not totally sure if this is true but I'm probably 95% sure. I can't tell you how many times I have sniffed a "new" candle and noticed it smelling basically identical to a candle they had a few seasons back. Come on Bath and Body Works, you can't fool us.
2. They email you almost every day.
When it comes to emails, Bath and Body Works is persistent. They're great when they let you know ahead of time about an upcoming sale or send a coupon, but I don't need a reminder four times every day.3. You don't even get excited about $12.50 candles because you know they put that sale on several times a year.
The first time I saw candles for $12.50, I freaked out. That's HALF OFF people! So of course, I went in and purchased 5 or so candles only to find out a few weeks later that this definitely was not the once in a lifetime sale that I had thought. People who still freak out over this sale obviously aren't frequent Bath and Body Works consumers.4. Fall scents are the best scents
You really can't argue this one. October-December is this best time of the year...and so are the scents associated with it. So get in there and stock up! Fall scents are coming out this month, actually. It's never too early to stock up for the most wonderful time of the year!
5. Even if you don't need anything from the store, you still have to go in every time you are at the mall.
So yeah, you have 14 soaps under your bathroom sink, 25 candles on your counter, and 8 lotions beside your bed, but you never know if there is something in the store that you haven't seen that you just might need.
I know I threw a bit of shade at this store, but I really do love it. A store dedicated to being clean and smelling nicely is the kind of store we all need in our lives.
