Life Is What You Make It

We spend a lot of our life worrying about not being good enough and worrying about what other people think of us. We go each day trying to please others and basing our mood off of how people are treating us. I'm really bad at all of that. I worry a lot and sometimes I can't help that. I have anxiety, so worrying is one of my biggest talents. It sucks, but we all do it, quite often. All of us have reasons to worry, but sometimes we worry too much. And I think we all need to step back and realize what life is and that we don't have to please anyone but ourselves in this life. It's our lives, not our ex-boyfriend's, or our ex-best friend's life. It's ours and we need to make ourselves happy. I've learned over these past few months that we can't go each day trying to please others. This life is what you make it.

We spend a lot of our time wondering why we're not good enough. We spend too much time over-thinking and over-reacting. We waste too much time putting ourselves down, so much that we don't stop to see that we are good enough. We spend all of our time with our heads down and hearts broken. We never get a chance to look up from the ground and see that the sun is going to shine tomorrow, and tomorrow is a new day to change ourselves.

It's time that you start realizing that your life is worth it. You're placed on this earth because God has a plan. He has a perfect lined out plan, a master plan. He knows what's going to happen tomorrow, next month, next year, in 15 years. He has it all and you can never doubt him. He is the leader and you need to trust that. It's time to let go and let God. You have to start each day looking at the positives. You have to start each day by looking at yourself in the mirror and saying "I am good enough, and I am who I want to be." Stop wasting this hour worrying about what you're going to say to him, or worrying about what people are going to say about the outfit you picked out. If you like it, then you like it. If you're happy, then you're happy. You aren't given this life for others happiness. You're given this life for your own happiness and to find your own worth. So go out there and find it. Stop looking at the people that make you feel like you're not good enough. Stop looking at the people that cause you worry. Stop looking at the people that if they don't talk to you for a day, you're crabby. You are in control of your own mood. And it's time you learn that. Do it for yourself. Be happy for yourself. Because tomorrow is a new day, put today's worrying behind you and move forward. "Life's what you make it, so let's make it right". As Hannah Montana once sang.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
