Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia star in NBC's latest hit show "This Is Us". The show documents a unique family's struggles and laughs over the course of a few decades. Here are the Boston University Schools as characters from "This Is Us!"

1. SED: Jack Pearson

A hard worker who is good with kids, Jack is a true family man at heart. He frequently makes sacrifices for the greater good of his family. Much like SED students, Jack accepts his children for who they are and believes in the importance of diversity.

2. SHA: Toby Damon

Toby's sense of humor immediately makes people feel comfortable. SHA students aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where people can rest and enjoy a nice meal. Toby also loves to eat, so SHA foodies rejoice.

3. CFA: William Hil

Young at heart, William is musically oriented and plays the piano with ease. He is a skilled songwriter and poet. William has made some mistakes but he is a hard worker who only gets smarter with age.

4. CGS: Kevin Pearson

An actor in a comedic sitcom called "The Manny," Kevin moves to New York city to audition for a broadway show in hopes that people will finally take him seriously. Despite people constantly underestimating him because of his less than serious television role, he is a highly capable actor. Kevin is still finding his place in the world, which resembles CGS students who are in the midst of deciding what to major in.

5. SAR: Beth Pearson

Married to Randall. A maternal figure and part-time "nurse", Beth helps take care of William when he gets sick. She cooks, cleans, and runs her household in an organized manner.

6. CAS: Rebecca Pearson

CAS students have a wide variety of interests and talents. Jack's wife Rebecca totally would have been in CAS if she attended BU. An intelligent singer and mom who is eager to broaden her horizons, Rebecca learns something new every day.

7. COM: Kate Pearson

Kate can talk someone off the ledge when they are feeling sorry for themselves or prevent others from making bad decisions. An excellent communicator, she is close with almost everyone in her family and handles conflict well.

8. ENG: Tess Pearson

Randall and Beth's eldest daughter, she is a fast learner and a good student. Tess is great at chess and wise beyond her years. She is a rule-follower and has the logical mind of an engineer.

9. Questrom: Randall Pearson

A business man with a knack for numbers, Randall is one of the most complex and likable characters on the show. Frequently found wearing a suit, his seemingly uptight demeanor dissipates when he is around close family and friends. Similar to the students in Questrom, Randall harbors workaholic tendencies.

Tune in Tuesdays at 9/8c and check out this amazing show! Feel free to binge-watch!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
