This song was just the start of their success because from here on out the band released a variety of singles including the famous "Jumper" and "Never Let You Go," as well as albums that soared to the top of charts quickly. The band has not been on tour or in Atlanta for a while, so they will be somebody you will not want to miss. Another band to keep an eye out for with be Portugal. The Man. This group is a younger group with the release of the EP in just 2005. The group is based out of the Northwest Pacific region of the country, so they will be making quite the track down south for Shaky Knees. The members of the band have varied throughout the years, but their Indie Pop and Alternative sound have stayed constant. Two of the Alaskan band's most popular songs include
"Modern Jesus" and "Purple Yellow Red and Blue". Better listen to this band because they've come a long way to perform! The last band in the spotlight would have to be Cage The Elephant. This group traveled to Atlanta not so long ago, however, their performance will not disappoint. While this group originated in Kentucky in 2007, they first saw their success overseas with great popularity in Great Britain. However, success in the states followed shortly and the band has continued to succeed releasing their fourth and most recent album in 2015. Two of the groups most popular singles include "Cigarette Daydream" and "Trouble". While the band has changed lead guitarists, their sound has stayed true with American influence.
Third Eye Blind, Portugal. The Man and Cage The Elephant all come from very different places, yet their sounds all have Indie and Alternative sounds. Each of these groups has a unique and special story to which adds to their identity and sound as a band. Every single one of these groups would be amazing live, and they should definitely be on top priority for Shaky Knees must-see performers.
