I often wonder why in the world some sexist pigs say the things that they do. My theory is that in their delusional heads, they expect women to respond to their outlandish remarks or acts in an absurdly thankful or submissive way. So I present to you the ways in which, a**holes wish women would react to their idiocy.

"Wow when you slapped my a**, I felt this connection. It's like you were groping my soul and that I had known you forever."

*Woman looks in "other messages" on Facebook*

Message From Cam Mewton: Hey Sexi, I luv ur profile pic. Wanna chat?

Woman says to friend: "Look at this, Carol! Could this be fate? Have the stars aligned so that he could find me? Could he really be the one? Wow, this is all overwhelmingly romantic."

Man: "You belong in the kitchen. Make me a sandwich, woman."

Woman: "Okay, would you like that on whole wheat or white?"

"You want me to smile? Alrighty! Anything for you, strange man that I have never met before!"

*Boys rate girls in class on a scale of 1-10 to rank who's hot and who's not*

Girl: "Gee Wiz, I need to hurry and reapply my lip gloss in the bathroom so I can look extra hot. This is going to determine the rest of my life as well as the potential I have to meet a future husband!"

*Gets rated at a 3*

Man: "This is a conversation for men."

Woman: "I guess you're right. I'll just go back to thinking about unicorns and cartwheels!"

"Wow, your aggressive grab for me to grind with you on the dance floor was so very passionate. I felt as if I was the chosen one!"

Man: "You're so beautiful, girl."

Woman: *Silence*

Man: "Wow, you should be grateful that I complemented you, b*tch."

Woman: "I am so sorry, sir! I apologize for my rude behavior and let me reassure you that your compliment really helped me to find that sense of self worth that I have been looking for my entire life!"

"OMG did you hear that guy yell at me that I'm sexy? Yeah, I'm going to marry him."

Woman: "When I saw this post from Donald Trump..."

"I just knew that he was the candidate that I would be voting for in the 2016 election. Obviously because Donald Trump could definitely satisfy me. "

"Does this outfit say 'My no's mean yes?' - because that's what I'm going for tonight!"

All of the requests and comments behind these ridiculous responses are either forms of casual or blatant sexism. Although my interpretation may be funny, the feeling that I as well as millions of other women feel when we experience sexism first hand is not funny at all. Personally, I have encountered many of these forms, and they have left me feeling either extremely angry, crying in a bathroom, or so uncomfortable that it turned into fear. We are women. We are not your objects of desire and we do not have to react to your nasty, derogatory comments. We are strong, independent, highly intelligent, and fellow human beings. We are your equals, so treat us with a little respect.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
