In A Life Without Limitation The Only Thing Holding You Back Is You

The wall between the goal you are trying to achieve and the mental capacity of getting up and making it happen is the ONLY thing stopping you.

Isn’t it incredible that life is limitless? No, but really just think about that statement for a second.

Limitless.

That’s a broad word, some may say. And others may question that statement considering their inability to fly or read minds.

So okay sure, maybe to say life has no limits on us can seem very risky to some people, but I would argue that it is only because the meaning could somehow be considered vulnerable of unknown potential.

This brings me back to the point I made about reading minds and physically ‘flying’. I will say no, right now there is no way to dig into someone’s thoughts or to physically fly. But think about how far we’ve technologically advanced since the first decade of this universe. Someone did in fact create planes that ‘fly’ people from one place to another, and we did in fact have an individual who flew to the moon and then in the midst of space because of gravity.

So, half my point is who’s to say one day a very curious and determined individual will find a way to read a persons’ mind or make one capable of flying?

My bigger point to life being limitless is that it is all a matter of what you are willing to put in when you want to get something done.

I have heard this general idea in many ways, but ever since the first time I heard someone simply say, “if there’s a will, there’s a way” to depict the idea that anything you want to do in this life is possible as long as you persevere upon what’s necessary to get there, it’s stuck with me.

Look, the fact of the reality is that if you want something, I mean really want something--whether it may be wealth, fame, to be the strongest, to be the fastest, to get good grades, to obtain any type of material success, hell to even be the best at whatever it may be--the journey is not going to be a breeze. And believe me when I say you will not be the only one on this journey nor will everyone you encounter have your best intentions at heart.

People are going TO WANT to see you fail, people are going to tell you that YOU CAN’T DO SOMETHING, they are going to push you until you bend, test your mental strength, play unfair, discourage you, pray to see you fall, and at times they WILL WIN. But one thing that will always stand true is if the world is against you but you will not allow it to discourage you, you are secure with what you want and you are on the road of getting it, and being aware of how much time and effort it is going to take, you will succeed.

It is all mental.

The wall between the goal you are trying to achieve and the mental capacity of getting up and making it happen is the ONLY thing stopping you.

So screw the “I’m tired”, the “I’ll start tomorrow”, the “maybe next time”, the “I CAN’T”.

Enough. Because I can assure you when you’re sitting back thinking all this and feeling sorry for yourself, there is someone with less resources than you busting their butt to get to the point that you are not self-disciplined enough to get to.

To be a dreamer in this world of possibilities is a beautiful thing, but do not waste it with a weak mindset that is only content with the idea of doing great things.

One day you're going to look back on how far you've come, all the people who doubted you, and all the days you wanted to quit, but you didn't let it stop you; none of it matters anymore, you've made it.

I guess all that's really been stopping you was you. So enough already and make it happen.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
